Major Work Area: Installation, Service, Repair, Commercial and Residential
Education: Some college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training, Gas Technician or Gas Fitter Trade Certification (under 400,000 BTU’s), Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) Certificate, Driver’s License.
Experience: 2 – 5 years
Languages: English is must, Mandarin/cantonese are asset
Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Systems: Rooftop (self-contained), Heat pump, Air motioning and circulation, Built up (split system), Humidification and de-humidification systems, Ventilation
Specific Skills: Perform routine maintenance and servicing, Interpret gas codes, Install, troubleshoot, repair and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
